Elegance with pride
Wewinta Fashions began with a simple belief — that a well-made drape carries the person wearing it. We work with weaves, colour and cut that feel rooted yet current, made for women who dress for themselves.

Woven by hand
Every saree begins on a pit loom or handloom. Machines finish nothing here that a person can do better.

Small runs only
We cut between twelve and forty pieces of anything. When it's gone, it's usually gone for good.

Paid fairly
Weavers are paid per metre at above-market rates, in advance, with no deduction for slow retail seasons.
Where we're going
A wardrobe that outlives the trend cycle
We're expanding into naturally dyed cottons, repairs for pieces you already own, and a resale programme so a Wewinta saree can have three lives instead of one.
